The Gift Gallery was the original dream of Kay McDermott, my wonderful Mother.

Having always had an eye for quality and style, Mum started the business almost fifty years ago. To her delight, she watched The Gift Gallery grow from strength to strength.

I was very lucky to have worked alongside her for almost twenty years and learned so much in that time from her experience in the trade.

Her advice to me on starting in the business was to always aim at the customer having a positive shopping experience, and in doing so, leaving the shop feeling happy.
